Hello! My name is Mrs. Kristy Howald and I am truly blessed to be a part of the Our Lady of the Lake family as a first grade teacher!
I am a graduate of Ursuline College and hold a license in Early Childhood Education. This is my thirteenth year teaching with the Diocese of Cleveland.
I am a firm believer that schools must help a parent raise their child(ren). With that belief in mind, I hope to work very closely with you this year to ensure that your child gets the most out of our year together. One of my goals for this year is to help each child grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, and personally!
My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. One of my jobs as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside them to maximize it. Your child’s success in my classroom is my number one priority!
Aside from teaching, I enjoy shopping and listening to country music! My husband and I have three beautiful girls and love to spend the weekends camping, watching our oldest play volleyball, going to the park, or just relaxing around the house!
